I found two things I wanted to share today. The first is the new Joe Lauzon shirt that his friends and family wore for UFC 118. It’s available for sale now at his blog JoeLauzon.com. It’s pretty snazzy.

The second thing I wanted to share is this nice article on Jason Mayhem Miller by Ben Fowlkes over at MMAFighting.com. I generally hate reading non-news MMA pieces, but this one is a worthwhile read. Fowlkes is adept at going beyond the “current figher looks to win his upcoming fight” fluff pieces that float around the blogosphere, and this piece illustrates that talent. Great Job!

I apologize for crapping on your national ad campaign, Cain, but this is crap. It’s self-indulgent, sexist, cliche, and really out of scope. How many people in the mainstream audience will even know who this guy is and why he’s selling them shoes?

Unofficially, UFC 122 will feature Vitor Belfort vs. Yushin Okami in Germany and will be free on Spike TV.

Somebody decided we needed a sequel to 2008’s MMA-themed movie Never Back Down. And they are exactly RIGHT! Never Back Down 2 will star UFC heavyweight Todd Duffee and Eddie Bravo, who will also provide some of the music for the film. OMG is right.

Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck will headline UFC 124 in Montreal on December 11.
